  3. xammp settings

New to programming in general...so I just installed XAMMP to play around with php.

I was wondering how I can change my configurations so that I can edit .html, .php files, or whateve else I want to change directly from the htdocs folder. Currently I move them to desktop, make my edits, then move them back to htdocs :D.

    Thanks in advance.

Oh man, I haven't used XAMPP, but I'm using WAMP.
In my localhost, there is no barriers, I just need to edit the host's files like editing normal files in my computer. I am wondering how special XAMPP is ^^.
What operating system are you using? Mine is Windows XP.
